My husband is like a cat but instead of 9 lives I think he must have used up about 20! Yesterday while using his electric cross-cut saw to make a new cupboard for our kitchen sink, he cut straight through the power cord! He thought he had hit a nail as there was a grinding sound and a puff of black smoke, he didn't even realise he's done it until he went to cut the next piece of wood and found the saw wouldn't go, low and behold there was the cord cut clean through! Amazingly he didn't even get any sort of shock.
